The Architecture of Appetite

About Project

With an appetite for architecture as big as their appetite for food, Integrate Lab was able to artfully combine the two for this project. In a unique architectural design including materials of wood, steel and glass, Integrate designed and built an 8200 sq. ft. production facility for New World Medical. This facility included a clean room, an IT room, storage, and common office space, but the most stunning aspect was the main employee cafe.

This particular high tech cafe included a skylight, with additional lighted ceiling features, as well as a full video screen wall. Outfitted with biometric access and fiber optics, this facility still serves as the beating heart of the three-building New World Medical campus.

New World Medical was founded to Benefit Humanity and to live up to this lofty goal by developing, manufacturing, and marketing cutting-edge medical devices intended to alleviate the suffering of glaucoma patients globally.
